365 Cards: Day 220

I did this card for the group 365 Days and it is for Day 220. The requirement this time is to use cross-stitch. My inspiration this time is my Grandma. She loves angels and her favorite colors are pink and green. She will be 80 in November.

Ingredients:
Paper: Die Cuts With a View
Embellishments: Scrapbooking paint, Ribbon, Flowers and Charm
Cross-stitch of an Angel
Size: 6x6

Thanks for looking at my card!

Scrappy Frogs Challenge

Scrappy Frogs had a challenge to make a project with a frog on it. I had this cute little stamp with a witch holding a frog (that I found at a yardsale) and thought it would be way cute on a card for Halloween.

The paper I used were all from We R Memory Keepers. Then I added glitter from Making Memories with a glue pen. I doodled my own designs for the glitter. I think it turned out perfect! I inked the edged with a black stamp pad. I used watercolor pencils to color in the witch. Then I added the eyelets and laced up the holes. I really like that look. Then It needed something else so I added a charm for the finishing touch.

This is my first challenge. It is a Birthday Book for Project Tuesday. I think it turned out so cute!

The size is 6x6. I used the template for the months and the cute saying from Project Tuesday. For the cover I used Mod Podge to attach my paper to scrapboard. The Paper is Die Cuts With a View, Stamps are from Stamp Affair and Fancy Pants Designs, Inks are Personal Sentiments and watercolor pencils, Flowers are Prima Marketing, the Brads in the flowers is from Creative Impressions. Then I used ribbons for the finishing touch.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks,
Heidi
